April’s life in the service industry started early, at the age of 15. Some call it the “School of Hard Knocks”… Somewhere along the road, she eventually found herself at the door of Durham Catering. Working casually with them on events over the course of 2 years or so, April managed to make an impression whether she had realized it or not. Seeing great promise and a thirst to learn, Tom approached April in early 2009, offering an opportunity to grow and thrive with the company as their Office Manager. Unable to think of any good reason to refuse, she has been with Durham Catering since then, gaining limitless invaluable experiences and has slowly become a part of the family that ties the business together.
